Business SME - Asset Servicing, Corporate Actions, Borrowing/Lending/S

Our client, a leading investment management/asset management organisation is looking to recruit a Business SME on an initial 6 moth contract. The successful candidate must have In-depth knowledge and practical experience of Eq and FI Corporate Actions across global markets within an Investment Banking/Retail environment. Either from a line perspective or change management.

THE ROLE

- This is an SME project based role within the London office working as part of a high calibre programme focussed on client solution definition and delivery
- Review of current Asset Servicing processes at a detailed level in the USA and UK offices spanning corporate actions, dividends, tax reclamation and coupon processing.
- Redesigning current process in line with changes in business objectives and to partner with colleagues to create a globally holistic plan
- Defining future business processes
- Taking into account current and future regulations & liaising with Project Managers to factor risks and approach into the project plans as appropriate 
- Contributing to project meetings & working groups as required
- Liaising with peers to ensure the asset servicing planning is aligned with the wider aspects of the programme or work

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- In-depth knowledge and practical experience of Eq and FI Corporate Actions across global markets within an Investment Banking/Retail environment. Either from a line perspective or change management.
- Will possess excellent business documentation skills to define requirements including ppt, visio & workflow diagram preparation
- Able to work to set deadlines and under pressure
- Will have had in-depth exposure to system improvement, process design initiatives and client facing solutions eg event capture, data scrubbing, coupon process automation, event diary implementation or usage in a production environment
- Recent experience of working in a Tier 1 Wealth organisation
- Will have a detailed working knowledge of banking software/SWIFT, agent banks, vendor applications in the Asset Servicing space
- Will have a strong understanding of the industry from a regulatory and operational perspective relating to Asset Servicing
- In-depth knowledge of manufactured dividends (this is a key requirement)
