Business Readiness Manager - Global Payments - Glasgow - Financial Ser

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Business Readiness Managers form part of Global Payments Change Readiness Services. The programme that the candidate will be assigned to will be one of the key mandatory or strategic projects within the Global Payments Portfolio. The programme can be a mixture of IT led, or business led activities and it will be the responsibility of the Business Readiness manager to work alongside the respective Programme and Project manager to ensure the business is suitably positioned to receive and implement the change.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role will entail a number of key responsibilities and will be accountable for Operational Implementation Engagement, Implementation Governance, Business Project Services, Command & Control Activities and key stakeholder engagement across the affected Business areas.

CORE SKILLS

- Extensive experience of working within a project change environment
- An in-depth knowledge of Business Readiness and Implementation activity - within an Operational environment,
- Demonstrate experience of engaging with Business Operations teams to define training needs, communications requirements and testing plans.
- Experience of managing project resource across change life cycle (particularly testing, training and implementation phases),
- Knowledge & experience of risks and issue management techniques,
- Experience of working with IT project delivery teams in a Matrix environment,
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement abilities,
- Strong written and oral communication skills & experience of reporting across all levels of the organisation,
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
- Some knowledge of payment systems & processes within Financial Services industry preferable

DESIRED SKILLS

Previous Change or Business Readiness experience within Banks or other Financial institutions. Knowledge of payments methods and payments systems

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The role will require the individual to undertake travel across the UK from time to time.
