Business Project/Programme Manager - System Decommission

My client is a leading Financial Services Organisation undergoing significant, high profile people, process and systems change. As part of this global programme of change initiatives the Investment Bank have selected particular systems and platforms to replace with bespoke in-house technology.

Within the Operations Business function, the trade capture platform Summit is being decommissioned and the business will need to be migrated off to the target infrastructure. This piece touches multiple business areas, and this person will need to drive through both the product migration, business migration and overall decommissioning piece from a business perspective. This requires a person who both understands the OTC Derivatives space, and has previous experience of leading a system decommissioning piece from the business perspective - acting across multiple business areas, chairing working groups, keeping people on target, managing deliveries, keeping decks up to date and reporting to a senior level.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a track record of delivery within Investment Banking, of a similar project nature, to take over an in-flight project with high visbility and complex stakeholder engagement matrices. Essential:

- Extensive experience as Programme or Snr Project Manager within an Investment Bank
- System Decommissioning experience from an Operations Business perspective
- OTC Derivatives understanding
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to liaise at all levels, with senior level management face-off
