Business Project Manager - Regulatory/FX Experience

A PROJECT MANAGER is required with a demonstrable track record of delivery to lead an FX PROJECT within this multi-segment Financial Services business. This role forms part of a team engaged in moving the business towards best in class process and efficiency.

ACTIVITY TO BE UNDERTAKEN:

- Manage a project to optimise FX management, including technology and business process content.
- Validate that the requirements of the project are correct and fit-for-purpose.
- Deliver the Project to a broad Prince2 methodology (pragmatic, Company specific Prince2).
- Ensure that all Risks and Issues are documented in the relevant logs and regularly review the risks/issues to mitigate them.
- Report on a regular basis to highlight progress and any slippages in a timely manner

CAPABILITY/EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

- STRONG EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING PROJECTS WITHIN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR.
- Highly experienced project manager with many years commercial experience of DELIVERING BOTH TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS PROCESS PROJECTS.
- EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING A FX OR TREASURY RELATED PROJECT WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE.
- Ability to lead complex projects without being micro-managed on a daily basis.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, skills to ensure that all stakeholders are led through the project delivery life cycle in an elegant manner.
- Process led thinking to ensure that business processes can be challenged without conflict.
- Enjoy being part of a team and is fully engaged to contribute to the team to share knowledge.
