Business Project Manager

The successful Business Project Manager will be Prince 2 certified and have experience of working as a Project Manager helping to deliver desktop projects.

The role does not require the successful candidate to lead on anything, it is a Business PM role that requires the ability to fit into the established structure and manage the business elements of the overall project.

You must display considerable experience particularly around CONNECTAPPS projects which is vital if you are to be considered for this role.

Within your role you will report on progress, risk and issues, plans and other metrics as required by program colleagues. Project Managers work closely with their Business Engagement Manager colleagues representing the program to the customer and customer's tech partner and will champion the Fusion brand.

Responsibilities will include the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project, working with various business people and technical teams across all levels.

Managing the Project Stakeholders with the Business Engagement Manager

Developing & Managing the Schedule

Time and Cost Estimating

Developing & Managing a Budget

Documentation eg Project Initiation Document

Managing the Project Conflicts, Risks and Issues

Monitoring and Reporting Progress eg 4 Box, Steerco Slides

Stakeholder management and strategic Influencing

Business Partnering

Controlling Quality

Liaise with programme team to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects

Lead and motivate the project management team

Ensure that behavioural expectations of team members are established

Manage the information flows between the directing and delivering levels of the project

Manage the production of the required products, taking responsibility for overall progress and use of the resources and initiating corrective action where necessary

Advise of deviations from the plan to senior management
