This is a 5 month Contract opportunity. Overview
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and team oriented individual to assume the role of Business Process Management (BPM) Analyst/Developer. The BPM Analyst/Developer will be responsible for working closely with business representatives as well as other areas of Information Technology to promote success of multiple BPM and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) projects. This position will be responsible for the analysis and design of systems based on SOA principles, ensuring the alignment and incorporation of the client's best practices, patterns & standards and delivery of the solution. Roles and Responsibilities
- Attend requirements gathering and stakeholder meetings.
- Determine functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analysis and design of BPM solutions.
- Identify design alternatives.
- Communicate with developers.
- Develop BPM solutions using standard technologies and specifications.
- Prepare deliverables based on methodologies.
- Follow the integration/BPM/SOA best practices, guidelines, processes and standards.
- Transfer knowledge to staff. Deliverables: In coordination with the Enterprise Application Integration team and working alongside the project team, the BPM Analyst/Developer is responsible to deliver the documents as per the client's methodology. The BPM Analyst/Developer is also expected to develop the Proof-of-concepts as required and deliver quality BPM solutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years experience in requirements gathering, analysing, developing and delivering successful BPM projects.
- Solid experience with Lombardi/IBM Suite of products (Experience with other BPM suites will be considered).
- Thorough knowledge of SOA principles.
- Expert in Java, .Net, XML, Web technologies, Database & Scripting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write specifications for developers where required.
- Skill to monitor and assign work to developers where required.
- Previous work experience with Municipal, other Government Organizations or equivalent endeavours.
