Business Process Consultant, Lean/Six Sigma is a must - temporary - Basel
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Consult with Business Process Owners and other clients/stakeholders to understand and influence the business strategy within the process area
- Set the strategic direction and drive towards global harmonization for business processes
- Measure and improve continuously the effectiveness and efficiency of global processes through Lean/6 Sigma techniques, and provide focus to the CABs to drive the right small change
- Identify opportunities resulting from situational changes such as new regulation, data insights, new business situations to shape new business processes
- Design agile and sustainable processes to support the introduction of new business models
- Collaborate with Regional Business Process Consultant teams to create a 3 year roadmap for process maturity improvements and drive the right portfolio to enable it
- Provide process expertise to deliver change and support the early phases of global projects
- Set the framework through which the Design Authorities assess compliance with the global process standards
- Champion a global business process management approach with a consistently applied set of methods, tools and techniques
- Track the actions of competitors and seek out business process management best practices to stimulate business thinking
- Educate, mentor and build process knowledge across the business community
- Connects process management to business strategy
- Designs sustainable processes to support innovation
- Integrates new business model
- Builds knowledge and process expertise
YOUR SKILLS
- >5 years' experience in business process management
- International experience working with large multinationals
- University degree in a commercial/business or technical/IT subject
- Experience of program and project management
- Functional specialist in at least one process area
- Expertise in business process design methodologies and techniques
- Expert in Business Process Management and Value Stream Mapping
- LEAN/6 Sigma experience and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Shows insight in identifying core issues in complex business problems with many contributing factors
- Articulates goals for business based on an understanding of capability and readiness to change
- Communicates an in-depth understanding of the current and future challenges faced by the organisation and the drivers of change
- Sells concepts and solutions to business leaders to transform the organisation
- Adapts communication style and content to the needs of the audience
- Manages complex relationships across business sectors
