Business Process Analyst - Transition and Support Engineer

Projektbeschreibung

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for developing, modifying, ensuring adherence to and executing Transition Planning and Support, Change, Release and Deployment Management systems and protocols, with particular focus on supporting the delivery of Projects.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

Perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

- Develop and continually refine the Transition Planning and Support processes
- Assist with the development of Transition Plans
- Assist Project teams with development of TIS (Transition into Service) and TSR (Transition of Support Responsibilities) checklist and associated documentation
- Ensure that systems necessary to support the processes are implemented
- Own and execute the processes, ensuring participation in and adherence to the defined processes by the Service Delivery Team and Project Resources
- Interface with the Customer, Analysts, Project Managers and System Operators
- Work within the boundaries of company policies and procedures
- Prepare for and participate in mandated engineering reviews, including review of subcontractor involvement
- Participate in the pursuit of new business by identifying opportunities and participating in tender responses
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives
- Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

- Appropriate degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialised training commensurate with assignment
- Relevant Professional Memberships desirable
- ITIL V3 Foundations Certificate
- High level of certification in Change, Release and Validation desirable

EXPERIENCE
Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a 'can-do', pro-active, approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Lockheed Martin's objectives.

- Substantial experience within the relevant technologies and domains
- Expert understanding of and capability to design and execute ITIL Transition Planning and Support, Change, Release and Deployment processes
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment
- Demonstrated ability in providing direction and coordination to a team of professionals, with particular experience working within Project life cycles
- Strong knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols
