BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST (TRANSFER AGENCY, HEDGE PRODUCTS)

We are currently looking for a Business Process Analyst with knowledge and experience within the transfer agency business to join an existing project group to work with one of the world's leading financial institutions based in Dublin.  The successful Business Process Analyst will have knowledge and experience within the transfer agency business, specifically in Hedge Products. As a Business Process Analyst you will be work with a team to migrate a group of existing clients from a Legacy TA engine to the strategic TA platform.

SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY:

- Join an existing project group, as BA/HEDGE BUSINESS PROCESS SME, working as part of a team to migrate a group of existing clients from a Legacy TA Engine to the strategic TA platform.
- To work with the Business and Vendors to review procedures, processes, and problems to identify areas for improved functionality, automation and workflow. 
- To work through processes and procedures to propose process changes and system developments to improve productivity and functionality to meet Client and Business needs and SLD's.
- Interacts with the Business in analysing and supporting existing operational procedures

and interpreting how client and business needs can be better met. - Details client and business requirements for management approval.
- Works as part of the BPA Team to gather business requirements, design, UAT and work with the Business in the roll out and implementation of  these projects.
- Supplies operational support to users for new and existing systems and system functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reviews existing procedures, processes, and challenges to recommend where automation or improved processes can be implemented.
- Investigates and identifies root causes of errors. 
- Re-engineers processes to ensure that both business and client needs are met and efficient processes are in place.
- Interacts with staff in various departments including IT, PMO and operations to formulate and implement solutions to improve processing.
- Understands, determines and thoroughly documents business requirements and where appropriate, prepares feasibility and cost effectiveness proposals for Docket and Project meetings.
- Helps management prioritise workload to meet urgent business &/or client needs and tactical solutions with a view to enhancing/implementing longer term strategic solutions
- Creates and writes procedures or BRD's as required for manual workflow or system changes for TA.
- Coordinates testing of new systems and system modifications in accordance with client's SDLC Policy.
- Writes proposals for system changes/enhancements.  Implements new efficiencies to improve accuracy and timeliness and reduce costs, risk and errors.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge and experience within the transfer agency business specifically Hedge Products including, Series of Shares, Performance Equalisation and Investor based performance fees. 
- HEDGE PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND KNOWLEDGE OF ADMINISTERING HEDGE WITHIN TRANSFER AGENCY IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.
- Knowledge of the TA Platform Multifonds. Current Version 3.9.
- Knowledge of system capabilities, usually obtained through formal training or experience with PC, Mainframe Applications and Web Technology is required to assess automation and build out possibilities. 
- A knowledge of Babel (Bravura Solutions), SWIFT, EMX, XML or FTP protocol would be useful but is not a mandatory requirement.
- Strong knowledge of Fund Administration with particular emphasis on Transfer Agency.
- Advanced analytical skills at a Business, System and Data Mapping level.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Can work methodically and on own initiative within a large team.
- Familiar with industry trends, trading practices and product offerings.

Client is very much open to accept candidates who will be undertaking weekly commute.
