A Business Process Analyst is sought for a Global Insurance Organisation on an interim basis. My client is currently setting up a European Resource Practice Pool (Centre of Excellence/Resource Management Function) and this role will play an important role.

You will be aligned to deliver a Target Operating Model for the new Systems Europe Capability Centres (Practice Pools); responsible for the co-ordination and management of all IT deliveries in a program - structuring, leading and executing. You will also be charged with building out processes and procedures that will underpin the operating Model for new centres.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will need to be an expert manager of stakeholders with the ability to influence and network at all levels, and have genuine creativity and innovation in solving critical business problems.
Control and resolve risks and issues, especially through contingency, mitigation and avoidance strategies, including communication awareness.
Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects to successful outcomes
Establish, lead and motivate the programme team for high performance
Manage third party contributions to the programme as appropriate and manage communications with all stakeholders
Report progress of the programme at regular intervals to the Programme sponsor and key stakeholders
Be responsible for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme.
Ensure the delivery of new products or services from the projects is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan
Work with Steering Groups and Decision Boards to deliver to strategic plans and align/influence change portfolios and their prioritisation

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Experience of developing processes around Capability resource pool management.
A broad and deep understanding of business Process analysis and design combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead through others.
A thorough understanding of established and cutting edge business process analysis tools, methods and approaches with the desire and ability to improve the overall capability of a large business analyst practice.
Sound commercial judgement and business acumen, plus exceptional communication skills up to board level
At least 6 years experience in Business process Analysis delivering beneficial change using leading methods and experience of preparing Business process flow documentation to a high standard, and making recommendation's for lean and efficient processes.
Strong planning and coordinating skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Able to use MS Project and Visio
Prince2 qualification an advantage
Business process Analysis qualifications
Insurance knowledge and advantage. financial services background preferred
