Business Process Analyst - Actuarial/Reserving

BUSINESS ANALYST - PROCESS ANALYSIS/ACTUARIAL/RESERVING/FINANCIAL - this is a long term contract opportunity to join a global financial services company for a business critical project. The focus of the role will involve working closely with IT and business users in the area of fielding and actuarial analysis on a new reserving process.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

-7+ years Business Analysis experience within the financial sector
-Extensive process analysis experience
-Understanding of actuarials/reserving is highly desirable
-Data model/data flow know-how
-Good mathematical and business understanding
-Database knowledge (DB2, SQL and Excel) and strong analytical, problem-solving skills
-English is a must - German is a plus

YOUR TASKS:

-Gathering and analysing the business requirements for the new solution
-Working closely with IT, business and other customer/stakeholders
-Analysing and designing new processes
-Translating requirements into technical specifications
-Ensure correct implementation of business requirements
-Involved in the testing life cycle
-Documenting system tests as well as managing the user acceptance test including the rollout
