Business Process Analyst

For our banking client we are currently looking for a BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Zurich

Your tasks

- Develop an understanding of overall project objectives
- Develop the scope document of the Business concept for change
- Undertake appropriate "as is" analysis of proposed change area, identifying opportunities for improvement to design the "to-be" end-state solution
- Lead process analysis to deliver process improvement, process re-engineering and process management in line with the Global Risk Control Process Architecture and firm-wide process standards
- Lead and moderate sessions with stakeholders and Business experts to obtain input and sign-off of documented Business change requirements.
- Inform and obtain Business Sponsors and Business Architect agreement and required sign-offs
- Engage with IT BA to support translation of Business requirements into system specific requirements where appropriate
- Map Business requirements to process categories and develop Business rules with controls for solution implementation
- Facilitate review sessions between Risk Architect, IT BAs and end-users on target end-state look and feel

The ideal candidate shall bring:

- Business analysis or project management experience in the financial industry
- A LEAN EXPERT AND/OR LEAN SIX SIGMA CERTIFICATION
- Experience analysing business processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and develop robust solutions
- A degree in business administration, banking and finance, or economics
- An excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about operational excellence
- A flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
- Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
- Known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks
