Business Process Analyst

My client is urgently looking for a Business Process Analyst to work within a government body on a 6 month contract position in Sydney CBD.

The Senior Process Analyst is responsible for producing business process documentation to support Development, Testing, Training and Change teams.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

- Work across a range of stakeholders to accurately document complex and highly integrated As-Is process sets.
- Analyse existing IT design documentation and work closely with both development teams and end users to deliver To-Be process documentation, which shall support testing, Go Live training, change management and operations.
- Prepare for, organise and run process workshops. Present process documentation and facilitate stakeholder endorsement and sign off.
- Track, report on and proactively develop solutions to address risks, issues and roadblocks, both at an individual, team and project level.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Demonstrated experience in process analysis and re-engineering within complex business environments.
- Advanced to expert skills in process documentation in a formal notation such as BPMN, UML Activity diagrams or other workflow modelling technique.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and ability to effectively manoeuvre within a challenging stakeholder environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to provide and prepare communications for senior University executives.
