Business Process Analyst

An opportunity exists for a Business Process Analyst to join a large government organization for a short term contract to focus on an Asset Management project. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective time management and a proactive attitude. Government experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

- As-Is Process documentation
- Streamlining the end-to-end processes around asset purchase, movements, audits/stock takes and disposals and developing form templates associated with each of these processes
- To-Be Processes development and documentation emphasising interaction with the Hardcat Asset Management Software and Glossary of Terms
- Defining Roles and Responsibilities for each step in the asset process workflows including approvals
- Assist with policies around centralisation of asset purchasing, allocation of funds and asset life cycle management
- Liaising with key stakeholders from IT, Facilities, Purchasing, Finance and Internal Audit
- Consultation with senior stakeholders including Branch Directors

Required skills:

- Experienced Business Process Analyst who has worked on the analysis of asset management processes, preferably in IT asset management
- Experience in analysing and documenting detailed processes
- Experience in developing form templates
- Attention to detail
- Superior documentation skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Visio skills
