Business Process Analyst

1 year fixed term contract

Key Duties:

* Lead workshops to define 'as is' processes and identify opportunities for improvements through modelling of 'to be' processes.

* Support the development of internal capacity to deliver consistent business processes by creating and delivering required development activities.

* Lead on development and monitoring the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation in conjunction with Performance Manager.

* Develop and maintain relationships with colleague functions who will provide data to inform process improvement.

* Facilitate the process mapping programme including active participation in assessing feasibility, planning, analysis, design and test.

* Monitor process implementation and integration providing regular reports to Process Owners and advising on actions to secure required change.

* Lead on development and training delivery to a variety of staff groups in conjunction with Performance Manager.

* Present and facilitate workshops and other group activities to support the business processes change programme.

* Contract management with mapping software provider, NIMBUS, including finances and contract delivery

* Graduate level (minimum 2:1)
* PRINCE 2 Practitioner Level
* Minimum 3 years experience of practising Lean Methodology (i.e. DMAIC) required
* Proven knowledge and experience of business processes mapping softwares (i.e. NIMBUS Control) required

Key Skills:

* Excellent IT literacy including business processes mapping software (i.e. NIMBUS Control and Share Point)
* Proven knowledge and experience of project management methodology (i.e. Prince 2)
* Proven experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to identify root causes risks, issues and establish background information.
* Proven experience of presenting and facilitating workshops and other group activities to support the business processes change programme.
* Very good understanding of quality standards (i.e. ISO 9001, EFQM, Customer Service Excellence)
* Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data to support decision making
* Strong planning and scheduling ability to ensure the correct availability of skills.
* A broad understanding of the value and use of new technologies in improving services and modernising working processes
* An inclusive team worker who fosters partnerships, works collaboratively across boundaries and achieves results through others.
* Ability to delivery training to a variety of audiences, at Chief Executive level
* Excellent writing skills including business cases and report writing
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to organise, facilitate and taking minutes in meetings
* Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
