Business Planning and Consolidation Solution Analyst Job

BUSINESS PLANNING AND CONSOLIDATION SOLUTION ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- The position will be responsible for architecting and supporting Business Intelligence solutions for one or more functions working with key business partners in one country.
- First point of escalation for the business function and addressing issues.
- Responsible for project delivery for the function.
- Work with account manager/business in a consultative role, adding business value.

Projects Delivery:
- Deliver on projects in the capacity of Lead/Team member typically responsible for one project.
- Responsible for solution architecture/data architecture for a function under the guidance of a more senior resource.
- Work closely with account manager to propose, budget and plan for BI projects and enhancements within a technology.
- Document and maintain life cycle documents for the function.

Business Consulting:
- Work closely with the business to understand information gaps and provide consultative solutions.
- Identify areas of improvements and proactively take necessary action.
- Help develop BI expertise within the business.
- Perform customer training, leading workshops or other customer facing activities.

Governance:
- Help prioritize enhancement requests/projects and manage escalations.
- Communicate ticket/enhancements status on a monthly basis to the business.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in information management or related study.
- At least five (5) years of experience in IT consulting, and project management experience.
- The position requires a thorough understanding of business processes in the Finance function and strong business analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum of five years of experience in implementing/supporting SAP BI applications.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in architecting SAP BPC applications using BPC 7.5 NW/SAP BW 7.0 and higher versions.
- Experience in designing and developing BW data models (info cubes, info objects, multiproviders, DTP's, DSO's, process chains) and ETL rules.
- Experience in BPC data modelling, managing applications, dimensions security, work status and business rules.
- Experience in developing input schedules, reports, script logic, bex reports and data manager packages.
- Good understanding of different BI solutions and how they can be integrated with BPC eg ABAP, Webi, Dashboards etc.
- Deep knowledge of relational/OLAP databases, business process modelling (BPMN), data warehousing and ETL.
- Experience in debugging issues, performing root cause analysis and in using BPC specific transactions in BW eg UJFS, UJKT etc.
- Experience in financial planning, reporting and consolidation solutions such as cost center planning, sales planning, forecasting, currency translations, allocations, intercompany eliminations etc.
- Good understanding of consolidations, budgeting and forecasting processes and accounting principles.
