Projektbeschreibung

Harvey Nash is looking for a Business Planning Analyst (BPA)/Controller for a 10 month project in Switzerland.

The role is for coordination and analysis of PU/SU Budget, LE and WLE with regards to Volume, Period expenses, Production Utilisation Variance, Production Material Variances and Write-offs.

You are responsible for

- Participating in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, ensuring quality of submission and provide explanation on variances to plan.
- Providing clear and consistent Analyses and Reports, flagging proactively R&Os.
- Developing new reporting systems and enhance existing reports (eg KPI-Tracking).
- Preparing and presenting financial analysis to PU/SU and SLT.
- Ensuring compliance of processes with accounting and reporting guidelines (Group, Pharma, TO) within respective PU/SU.
- Supporting creation of business cases and preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs), ensuring best current financial and operational solutions are considered.
- Ensuring CARs are compliant with local and global accounting guidelines/policies.
- Monitoring CARs in respect of spending and timeline adherence and that the creation of the fixed asset(s) are completed after Project handover.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the PU Fixed Asset Register through regular audits.
- Initiating, leading, and supporting projects to improve productivity, profitability and efficiency.
- Acting as money belt to PU/SU related IQP Projects.
- Monitoring and creating transparency of all PU/SU improvement initiatives (eg IQP, LEAN, Yield) in respect of savings generated and timeline adherence.
- Linking operational benefits from improvement initiatives to the financial impact and establishing clear measurement.
- Supporting Product Costing and Business to improve quality of TPC calculation.

Requirements

- Education: University degree in Finance/Economics or higher
- Post-Graduate Education in Finance, Controlling or Management a plus.
- Good financial knowledge on investment evaluation, business case development and accounting.
- Strong in defining new and unknown processes - conceptual thinking.
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to think critically, challenge conclusions and underlying assumptions.
- Requires strong communication/interpersonal and proficient analytical/organizational skills in order to interact effectively in a Matrix organization with a number of customers and third parties.
- Requires proficiency with software, including Advanced MS Excel, SAP experience a plus.
- Experience in planning, reporting and analysis of business units, cost-centres and/or products.
- Project management or similar leadership experience.
- Demonstrated conceptual and strategic thinking: - analyses complex problems and formulates specific as well general solutions - challenges existing strategies and relates them to its own field of work.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Languages: Fluent in English, basic understanding of German
