For our client in BASEL we are looking for a BUSINESS PLANNING ANALYST (BPA) for a 9-MONTH contract.
DURATION: 07/01/2019 TO 30/09/2019
LOCATION: BASEL
WORKLOAD: 100%
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Major financial accountabilities for BPD (within TRD, GDD) include costs and headcount analysis vs plan, preparing Latest Outlooks, preparing Budgets and Latest Estimates, ensuring proper reporting of financial data, ensuring compliant processes.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Drives and manages the Budget and LO/LF process for TRD BPD: coordinates with the Local BPAs and LFs to ensure proper input into the system; consolidate and prepare unit Target split for the LF units
2. Monitors, reviews and controls the actual expenses and headcount versus the Budget/Latest Estimate and the overall target figure, communicate Risks and Opportunities to Head Finance and LF head
3. Generates monthly Costs and Headcount Reports for the Executive Summary including ad-hoc analysis
4. Provide monthly Latest Outlook for the line function, analyse variances and identify possible solutions
5.Manages on-going controlling tasks in Basel (FIKO and cost centre maintenance in our systems, monthly closing activities) and is the contact person for TRD BPA and the internal customers
6. Ensures compliance with accounting and reporting guidelines (Group, Pharma and Basel Finance guidelines), Major Accountabilities
propose and initiate process and productivity improvements
7. Support in assigned Projects
MUST HAVES:
- Degree in Finance or Business Administration or Economics (University or equivalent)
- Experience in Budget and Latest Estimate process
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills (SAP, BW, Office) ability to interact in a complex business environment
- English and German
