Finance Business Partner, Edinburgh, Banking, £350 per day

A key banking client in Edinburgh urgently requires a strong Finance Business Partner who is a qualified accountant with strong cost management and month end reporting on a 3 month rolling contract paying £350 per day.

You will meet the following requirements:

* Executive reporting of management and financial information for Division restructuring project portfolio.
* Stakeholder management, delivering insightful management information enabling decisions to be made to meet objectives.
* Track financial and non-financial deliverables of the project portfolio.
* Provide expertise to challenge, interlock and embed project deliverables into forecasting.
* Business case preparation and review.
* Lead month end process to ensure timely and robust financial and non-financial reporting.
* Lead the planning process for projects to meet deliverables and provide challenge to identify cost saving opportunities.
* Maintain a sound financial control environment across the project portfolio.
* Manage financial and non-financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Cost reconciliation and journal posting.

Skills and Competencies:
* Qualified financial accountant.
* Experienced business partner to senior stakeholders.
* Excellent ability with Hyperion Essbase, Excel and SAP.
* Knowledge of Oracle Financial Analyzer would be advantageous, but not essential.
* Prince2 would be advantageous, but not essential.
