Business Partner - Health, Safety and Environment

Our client, a leading British Defence and Aerospace company is looking for HS&E Business Partner a for a 12 month contract to be based in Derby.

As a HS&E Business Partner you will Lead HS&E locally in support of the Business priorities and based on a sound understanding of the local HS&E performance and risk profile

Key Deliverable:

Coach managers in effective HS&E leadership and implementation.

Be the principal HS&E point of contact for your assigned responsibilities and accountabilities.

Deliver on agreed improvement plans and be proactive in seeking out emerging issues.

Identify and promote good practice.

Work collaboratively with Business HS&E and the wider HS&E function, to build a sense of team, and alignment to Business and functional strategies.

Required Skills:

An HS&E specific college degree and/or professional certifications

Manufacturing operations background

Typically 5 or more years in HS&E (Health & Safety)

Typically 3 or more years managing others

Demonstrated experience in influencing managers
