For our client based in Zürich we are looking for a Business Objects Support Specialist (BO XI, Windows Server)
Description of the tasks:
- Provide first and second level support as well as deployment and operations services for a challenging large scale multi-application Business Objects deployment. You will be in contact with end users, report developers, solution designers and other functions and work with them on issues or consult them on processes and design.
- Support users both on first and second level
- Coordinate efforts in and support resolution of larger scale issues- Analyze and resolve outages
- Consult project teams in building an Application on the Business Objects platform
- Enforce platform standards/guidelines
- Possibility to grow into the upcoming secondary platform based on Microsoft BI
Education
FH, HF, MCSA certification, SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Objects Enterprise
experience (years and area)
5+ years experience in SAP Business Objects Level 2 Platform support (nice to have)
Experience in supporting large scale DWH/Business Intelligence enterprise environments
(Must have)
Strong experience in supporting/operating a larger scale Microsoft BI platform environment a plus
Systems/programming languages/databases
Windows Server 2003/2008 (must have)
UNIX Solaris/Linux (nice to have)
Oracle 11g (nice to have)
Technology
SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 (Enterprise Platform, Client Tools) (must have)
Microsoft BI (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS (2008 and up) a plus
Languages
Strong oral and written German and English skills (must have)
Social skills
Reliable person. able to work under pressure (must have)
Strong communication skills (must have)
