Business Objects Support Specialist
Edelway AG is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. One of our best clients, a global Bank based in Zürich, is currently looking for an experienced Business Objects Support Specialist to join them on a long term basis.
Start Date: ASAP
Working Language: German and English mandatory.
THE ROLE
*Business Objects Support Specialist (BO XI, Windows Server)
*Provide first and second level support as well as deployment and operations services for a challenging large scale multi-application Business Objects deployment
*You will be in contact with end users, report developers, solution designers and other functions and work with them on issues or consult them on processes and design
*Support users both on first and second level
*Coordinate efforts in and support resolution of larger scale issues
*Analyze and resolve outages
*Consult project teams in building an Application on the Business Objects platform
*Enforce platform standards/guidelines
*Possibility to grow into the upcoming secondary platform based on Microsoft BI
YOUR PROFILE
*5+ years of experience in SAP Business Objects Level 2 Platform support
*SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 (Enterprise Platform, Client Tools)
*Experience in supporting large scale DWH/Business Intelligence enterprise environments
*Strong experience in supporting/operating a larger scale Microsoft BI platform environment a plus
*Windows Server 2003/2008
*UNIX Solaris/Linux (nice to have)
*Oracle 11g (nice to have)
*Microsoft BI (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) is a plus
