BUSINESS OBJECTS - DATA WAREHOUSING - ORACLE PL/SQL - SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS XI OR BI 4 - LINUX
Business Objects Specialist required for an initial 3 month contract based in Brussels
We are looking for a Business Objects specialist who will be primarily responsible for the support and maintenance of the German data warehouse, but who will also be involved in European initiatives such as FAST BI, EUDW, Pricing etc .
The BO specialist is a strong analyst with a results orientated focus and high organizational and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Incident management
- BO user management and version management
- Oracle and BO maintenance
- Monitoring of interfaces between the German DW and target systems
- Assessment of possibilities to leverage more central systems
- Manage day to day relationship with the various teams (Local IT and business, EDM, ICC)
- Involvement in EU initiatives
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, business administration, operations engineering or related field.
- Min. 3 years of experience in a technical role with a focus on Data Warehousing
- Min. 2 years of experience with the admin tools of SAP Business Objects XI or BI 4
- Good Oracle PL/SQL knowledge
- Basic linux knowledge is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to travel within Europe (5%)
