For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
BUSINESS OBJECTS SOLUTION ARCHITECT
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6months +
Location: Zurich
Skills/Experience needed:
- University degree or equivalent higher education in IT, business administration, banking or finance; an additional education (BI, SAP BO) is an asset
- Several years of work experience in the data warehouse and reporting area, preferably with a focus on banking or financial services
- Sound knowledge of BI methodologies and Oracle
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and team members
- Flexibility, leadership and personal excellence with strong conceptual, implementation, people and communication skills
- Experience with Client Identification/Cross Border reporting preferred (v nice to have)
- Solid overall IT knowhow of concepts and processes related to banking IT
- Strong analytic and communication skills, proactive approach, willingness to take decisions and presentations

- High management attention in an international environment, Embedded in a growing, multicultural team of professionals
- Close collaboration with General Counsel, Sr. Management, IT and external providers
- Create, analyze, develop and validate business reporting requirements in conjunction with IT and business stakeholders
- Responsibility to achieve clear understanding of business goals and needs within context of business processes
- Design, implement, troubleshoot and automate reports to reliably produce evidences to fulfil heightened legal and regulatory requirements
- Ability to understand complex business processes and to model Business Intelligence criteria accordingly
- Obligation to review high-level design and test cases to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Support Solution Architects, Requirements Engineers, development and test roles during relevant project phases, as well as requirement alignment to release plan, business processes and the overall context around application and technical architecture
