Business Objects Developer/Specialist - 6 + 3 - 6 Month Contract

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Business Objects developer who will be responsible for completing project activities and also providing second-line operational support for the Business Objects reporting suite. This will be an initial 6 month contract with the option to extend for a further 6 months.

Technical requirements
The role is primarily developing new Business Objects reports with some universe development. The role will include some support, which includes bug fixes and minor enhancement requests for in-house developed Business Objects reports and universes.

PRIMARY SKILLS REQUIRED

- Business Objects: three to four years experience with Business Objects XI 3 (essential)
- Demonstrated ability in the development of XCelsius 2008 dashboards in a corporate Datawarehouse environment (essential)
- Demonstrated skills in Dashboard manager and Performance Manager (essential)
- Exposure to SAP Strategy Manager (essential)
- Demonstrated experience with PL/SQL and Oracle (desirable)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary Business Intelligence principles and technology, standards and services in a Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse environment (desirable)
- Experience with corporate dashboard design (desirable)
