Business Objects Developer - SAP BO

The Responsibilities:

Deliver solutions for the Department's Business Intelligence Reporting (BIR) environment, including technical requirements analysis, specification, design, development and transition into ongoing support;

- Provide leadership in achieving the end state design of the BIR including the integration of new solutions and the decommissioning of Legacy solutions;
- Maintain the existing solutions in the Department's BIR;
- Mentor and transfer skills to staff of both technical skills and corporate knowledge of solutions;

Mandatory/Essential Criteria:

- At least 5 years' experience in: SAP BO universe design/Information design tool; Data Warehousing and BI;SQL coding;
- At least 3 years' experience in:SAP BO Web Intelligence; Xcelsius/SAP BO Design Studio; SAP Crystal Reports;
- SAP BO Certified Professional;
- Proven ability to integrate between tools;
- Proven GUI design skills;
- Ability to interact and work well in team environment;
- Proven communication

DESIRABLE CRITERIA BUT NOT MANDATORY:

- SAP BOXI3.1/SAP BO BI platform (version 4.1);
- SAP BO Universe Architecture involving development of frameworks and standards;
- Tomcat 5+ and Apache;
- Live Office and Query as a Web Service;
- DB2, Oracle and SQL Server;
- Voyager/SAP BO Analysis and other SAP BO tools;
- Latest versions of required toolsets;
- Other BI/OLAP toolsets.
