Business Objects Developer

4 month contract role in Chicago. Business Objects Developer. Developing BI Solutions. Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPI reports and other visualizations. Additional experience with an ETL tool is a plus (preferably informatica). Dimensional Model understanding. Data Analytics experience and in-depth understanding. Tableau and Tableau Server experience is a plus. Good soft skills, 4 month contract.

Analyze, design and develop Business Intelligence solutions to enable insight into complex business questions. Utilize and develop dashboards, scorecards, KPI reports and other visualizations that support our Enterprise Business Intelligence Strategy.

POSITION DIMENSIONS:

- BS or BA degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field is required.
- 5+ years' Business Intelligence development experience with a strong understanding of Business Objects. Experience Tableau and Tableau Server with is a plus.
- Additional experience in an ETL tool a plus, specifically experience with Informatica.
- Recommended 3+ years' experience within data analytics.
- Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 5+ years' experience in relational database technology.
- Strong understanding of dimensional models and the ability to make suggestions to the model that will improve the reporting insight and user experience.
