Business Objects Consultant - 1 year Project

SEC and a Global IT Consulting Company are working together in the search and selection for a Business Objects Consultant for an international project in Alicante.

You will be working within the Infrastructure Department working on performance management activities and projects within Quality Management Service.

This is a contract till the end of the year.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Provide IT technical consultancy and training, expertise and evaluations regarding the relevant subject: statistical analysis, statistical analysis, performance management, process performance indicators, Business Objects reports, sampling for quality checks (calculate size sample which has to be checked in each area of activity in order to come to statistically representative results at different levels, the expected error rate), survey techniques, questionnaire and scale design.
- Provide IT technical expertise
- Maintain reports, develop strategic ones. Analysis of data directly on DB (with SQL queries, TOAD); Schedule and maintenance of webi reports

You should be compliant with the following profile:
- Business Objects XI Desktop Intelligence is a must; SAP- Dasbhoard Designer 4.0 or Xcelsius
- Business Objects Designer (work on universe, import tables, creation of links, contexts, new objects);
- Central Management Console to control access rights to folder/report Infoview;
- SQL (Server Studio,TOAD?.)
- Excel pivot tables;
- SQL philosophy, Reporting tools experience, Business Objects advanced user.
- Knowledge in an applied quantitative subject (eg engineering)
- Knowledge and experience in performance management
- Transfer knowledge continually on technical key aspects of the relevant subject. Good communications skills in English.
- Strong capacity in preparing and writing IT technical consultancy documents.
- Strong capacity to train staff on IT tools selected for the projects. Strong capacity to train staff on performance management.
- Ability to apply high quality standards.
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
- Good communicator and ability to share knowledge at all levels.
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant technical consultancy and experience after secondary school
- Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience.
- Experience in Data Mining or SAP Predictive Analysis would be a plus.
