Yoh has a contract opportunity for a BUSINESS OBJECTS ANALYTICS/REPORTING SPECIALIST TO join our client in Bothell, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate day-to-day work of BO operations and administration team
- Develop project plans and monitor progress of major projects such as BO migrations
- Coordinate overall management and reporting of BO Servers, users, licenses, trouble tickets, etc.
- Coordinate various development tasks among BO Universe developers
- Document best practices for BO operations and admin, and always look for opportunities for improvement
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed

Monitor and respond to user requests for assistance of various kinds.
- Work with users and user management to understand reporting enhancements and translate those business requirements to technical requirements in terms of data architecture and BO universe and/or report design.
- Work with team to create critical daily and weekly dashboards (using Web Intelligence or Crystal Reports) for Executives
- Create Best Practices for Dashboard design (Web Intelligence is our primary tool)
- Help lead data architecture and project to design, build and utilize new table structures to support dashboards and key metrics
- Define and develop new portal for end user self-service access to reports
- Define best practices in report distribution including security requirements
- Assist the team in defining best practices in SAP BI Mobile Reporting
- Define Self Service reporting strategy and key report samples.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have bachelors degree or higher in computer science or related discipline.
- Minimum five (5) years experience with SAP Business Objects, BI 4.0 desired, in Administration and Operations Roles, with familiarity with Universe and Report Development tasks as well
- Minimum three (3) years data warehousing experience including data modelling, ETL practices and querying RDBMS using SQL
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with developers, managers and functional users
- Must have interest in business functions and ability to assist Business Analysts in report and dashboard design and development, understanding the problem at hand, discussing the data, and alternative approaches, then coming to recommendations for solution.
- Must have relevant reporting/analysis experience in the Sales, Marketing or Finance fields.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Must have the ability to develop project plans and coordinate many different groups of people.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must be self-motivated and strong desire to learn and excel, and lean complex new environment in short timeframe with little assistance

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Previous industry experience in eCommerce highly desired while industry experience in Cellular/Wireless nice to have.
- Experience coordinating Business Objects admin/operations group preferred.
