RATE: £450pd

ROLE: Business MI Developer

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reporting solutions across all business areas and external parties
- Ensure a robust and consistent criterion is applied to all reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Represent Business MI and Data Management on projects and key strategic initiatives that require Business MI input
- Ensure that reporting solutions provide customers with appropriate information on which to make informed decisions on business performance.

KEY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Customer focus
- Understand the customer requirements
- Analyse what raw data is available and gather appropriate information
- Estimate development required
- Ensure data integrity & reporting accuracy
- Have full understanding of all reporting and data sources including, UFSS/HML/Keystone
- Ensure the reporting development process is adhered to for all new and ad hoc development across the company
- Be proficient in reporting development techniques
- Manage own workload according to requirements.
- Manage & resolve any issues relating to the companies reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

- Numerical/Technical/Business Degree
- Advanced/Base SAS Certification

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Essential:

- Knowledge and Understanding of SAS v9 ETL products, Business Intelligence platform and component applications
- Ability to spot and implement process improvements to existing processes
- SAS Programming knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Articulate and numerate
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Basic understanding of the key business drivers for a Mortgage Service
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
