Business Manager, London, Banking.

My client, a top tier bank, require a Business Manager to provide strategic operational advice and support to the Head of Head of Legal and Business Banking.

Skills/Experience (required):

Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach; Able to break down large pieces of work into sub-tasks; Strong Excel, Database and PowerPoint skills; Good understanding of MI source systems within a banking/legal environment; Good understanding and practical experience of MI tools, systems and capabilities; Has the aptitude to develop and learn new technical skills; Understanding of legal and/or regulatory compliance or other risk reporting issues is highly desirable.

Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):

Responsible for opportunity and administering operational risk management for Western Europe Legal teams, including key control assessment and evaluation, reporting requirements (PRAS, and Group reporting), and assist the resolution of identified risks; Manage periodic financial forecasting (RAF/STP/MTP) on behalf of WE legal function; Ensure third party legal spend is reported and managed in line with agreed terms; To collate, analyse and present MI on WE Legal internal and external spend in line with business unit and legal function requirements; Design and implement/improve reporting and methods of obtaining MI from in-country and London teams; Work on production of MI as required.
