BUSINESS MANAGER (BM) - 100%, BASEL
Are you a Business Manager looking for a new challenge and ready for your next career step?

Experis IT Switzerland, a leading Swiss IT company is currently on the search for a Business Manager to join one of their clients, a global and well renowned pharmaceutical company based in Basel.
For this temporary assignment we are in search of an English speaking candidate ideally with previous experience within a pharmaceutical/scientific environment and who is available immediately.
AIM OF THE PROJECT:
Lead the sourcing and contracting process by managing outsourcing needs and professionally negotiating contracts for PD functions and teams.
PERFORMING IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the sourcing and contracting process between the functions or teams and potential vendors
- Coordinate with functional partners all outsourcing activities related to their specific DBA (status, update etc.)
YOU BRING FOR THIS ROLE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Science degree or equivalent
- Strong ability to NEGOTIATE BUSINESS TERMS and financial costs
- HIGHLY CUSTOMER FOCUSED for both internal and external customers
- Considerable understanding of DRUG DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
- STUDY/PROJECT MANAGEMENT within the PHARMACEUTICAL or CRO sector
- Ability to work internally and with multi-cultural teams
- Proven understanding in the following areas (clinical development, contract management, project and functional outsourcing management, ideally partnership management)
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to facilitate conflict resolution
