BUSINESS LEAD/FINANCE LEAD, NHS

Business Lead/Finance Lead required for my NHS client to ensure that their work stream of activities are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery: The Business Lead will ensure that open transactions are resolved based on a full analysis of available information within agreed performance targets and to ensure that open transactions are resolved based on a full analysis of available information within agreed performance targets. Manage specific customer & supplier accounts and reporting of risk and issue management - Liaise with appropriate functions as necessary
- Monitor and control progress against KPI's
- Ensure that all actions required to resolve open transactions are fully implemented

Knowledge & experience of supplier & customer commercial negotiations

Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment

Should have an appreciation of the relationship between the Department of Health and individual provider and commissioning organisations

Member of relevant professional body

Evidence of continued professional development

Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments

Experience of managing risks and reporting

Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at SMT level

Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes

Understanding of the public sector

Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment

Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project

Skills and Capabilities

Oracle - P2P and O2C

Communication Skills

Must be able to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups

Ability to negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.

Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders.
