BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE REPORT DEVELOPER (BO AND TABLEAU) - ANTWERP, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH only

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5+ years of experience with Business Objects and Tableau
- 8+ years IT and Business Intelligence experience
- Understanding of Business Intelligence solutions:
- Operational and analytical
- Strong knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures
- Knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex SQL queries
- Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions: strong Tableau/BO application design, development and delivery, including visualization, parameters and report optimization.
- Understanding of development, data modelling and ETL knowledge, including Data Warehouse and Data Modeling
- Excellent problem solving, design, debugging, and testing skills
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Work experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment is preferred

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/business analysts to define technical and process requirements with minimal supervision.
- Gather and prepare data from multiple sources to support information analytics.
- Design, development, testing and deployment of automated reports and dashboard solutions using Tableau, Business Objects, excel and other reporting solutions.
- Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions.
- Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
- Provide input to project planning, status and review meetings
