Business Intelligence Report Design Specialist

A leading FMCG company based in The Netherlands seeks a BI (Business Intelligence) report design specialist for an initial contract assignment. The employing company, which has a global presence, is investing heavily in developing its management information systems and financial reporting. As part of this process, they are seeking to implement new standard multi-dimensional reports for finance, senior management, supply chain, sales and marketing functions.

To achieve its goal, the employing company requires a reporting specialist to design and build complex multi-dimensional reports, from multiple data sources, to showcase the potential of existing BI tooling, as well as demonstrate the management benefits of modern BI reporting.

The successful candidate will be:

- Expert in building complex and creative financial reports in Tableau, Tibco Spotfire, Qlikview or similar reporting tools.
- Expert in modern multi-dimensional BI visualisation and presentation techniques.
- Extensive experience and understanding of business and KPI modelling.
- A proven understanding of statistics and statistical analysis.
- A strong affinity to finance and management information.
- A proven ability of working with a variety of data sources, including ERP, EPM and BI data-warehouses.
- Knowledge of SQL/MDX and other query languages will be beneficial.

The initial contract is expected to last an initial 3 months, with the expectation of further assignment opportunities in the future.
