Business Intelligence Operational Data Analyst

Proteus Europe is searching for a Business Intelligence Operational Data Analyst for one of our clients based in The Netherlands.

Our Client:-
Our client is a European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, is an intergovernmental Organisation with 41 Member States, committed to building, together with its partners, a Single European Sky that will deliver the air traffic management performance required for the twenty-first century and beyond.

Your New role:-

The candidate will be required to support the setup and perform the centre of expertise for operational data analysis and business intelligence.

His/her duties will include:
- Interpret data using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
- Design, develop, implement and maintain data analysis, reports and interactive dashboards i.a.w. prevailing quality, security and safety standards.
- Work directly with clients and project and business managers to identify, document and implement their analytical requirements.
- Supports less proficient BI users in the achievement of their data analysis goals with her/his expertise.
- Perform quality control of all data to ensure the validity and reliability of analytics and reporting.
- Recommends and supports the implementation of enhancements to the BI and data warehousing applications and technologies.
- Debrief on the status of work and potential technical and schedule problems.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
- University degree in area of specialty and at least 3 years of professional experience in the field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient user of BI tools and technologies, familiar with a variety of BI concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong analytical, statistics and problem solving skills
- Strong numerical and spatial data visualisation and interactive presentation skills
- Ability to work with a customer and team oriented approach in an international environment
- Knowledge of ATM governance, operational concepts and

ATFCM and ATC key performance indicators
- Proficient user of MS Office applications
