Business Intelligence Expert

We are currently searching for a BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE EXPERT to work in Geneva, Switzerland. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for an international client.

The candidate will provide a core Oracle Business Intelligence technical development capability within the business, building data warehouse(s) and custom ETLs based on data from a variety of source systems to deliver enterprise reporting to senior management in a federated data warehouse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understanding the business's reporting requirements by working closely with the Business Analysts.
- Interacting, Analyzing, designing, validating and maintaining the required layers (physical/mapping/presentation etc.) within the repository necessary to meet the business's reporting requirements.
- Advising on security and architecture issues relevant to the development of the BI strategy for the Organization.
- Developing the necessary custom ETL mechanisms (ODI/Informatica) to extract the appropriate source data, transform
- Ensuring data quality and completeness in the repository by identifying issues through working with the Application Functional Analysts and Business Analysts, and undertaking any required ETL data cleansing activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- A minimum of six years of technical experience including at least three years of professional experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE); ideally covering PeopleSoft
- IT Experience of Oracle's pre-packaged business analytics, ideally covering PeopleSoft Finance, Procurement and Human Resources
- Experience of a federated data warehouse with multiple data sources;
- Experience building an OBIEE environment supporting senior management dashboards analysing ERP and non-ERP data.
- Excellent knowledge of English; working knowledge of French an advantage.
