Business Intelligence Engineer

Our hugely popular client is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer who is passionate about using data to drive decisions. This role will focus on collecting, organizing, and presenting data to analyze mobile site traffic, mobile applications, understand customer behavior, feature performance, and accurately calculate ROI across multiple marketing and business development channels. A successful candidate knows and loves working with Business Intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with data from multiple sources, and can partner with internal stakeholders to help drive the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop state-of-the-art Business Intelligence Reporting/Analytics solution based on OBIEE.
- Collect, analyze, and present actionable data to drive marketing, business development and product management decisions.
- Write queries and reports across multiple systems, maintain data integrity standards, and perform data analysis.
- Learn and understand a broad range of data resources and know when, how, and which to use and which not to use.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence role, including data warehousing and Business Intelligence tools, techniques and technology, and Data Warehousing design concepts (star schemas and data warehousing modelling techniques)
- 3- 5 Years of experience in OBIEE development: installing, administering and developing Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11G/10G, design and maintaining RPD, creating Dashboards, implementing Security, iBots etc.
- Experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions
- BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, Datawarehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments
