BI (Business Intelligence) Developer - Manchester - 40k + bens

I'm urgently seeking an experienced BI developer to work for my client - a major e-commerce company based in Manchester. The current BI environment is based on SQL Server 2008 R2, working with a large complex datawarehouse. My client are a heavy user of Microsoft BI and a solid understanding of SSRS & SSAS is essential for this role.

The main duties of the successful candidate will involve maintenance of existing BI solutions and development & ownership of new BI projects; driven by the needs of the business.

The wider remit of this role will involve assessing the business' long-term business intelligence strategy, including the possibility of adopting new "best fit" tools & technologies where available.

This is a senior level role that will involve liaising with senior stakeholders and reporting into the BI director.

Essential experience required:
- SQL Server (including SQL Database modelling and architecture, expert TSQL)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- SQL Server Intergration Services (SSIS)
- Data Warehousing

Desirable experience/knowledge:
- Agile / TDD
- MDX
- SharePoint / PerformancePoint
- Qlikview

A salary, depending on experience, of between £36,000-£40,000 is on offer in addition to excellent benefits.
