Roles and Responsibilities:

* To implement complex development changes to the MicroStrategy as defined by requirements from the business stakeholders.
* Ensure all development work complies with the standards set by the IMASS group.
* Work with the Domain architects and Business Analysts in application design and development.
* Support other MicroStrategy development resources in their daily work

Skills required:
* Skilled in development of DHTML apps, including strong JavaScript skills
* Experience using JQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries
* Skilled in browser-based debugging techniques (Firebug, fiddler etc)
* Skilled in pure Java (eg Back End, web services) as well as J2EE Browser based app development
* Knowledgeable about web infrastructure (DNS, proxies, SSL certs, etc)
* Experienced in source control (ideally subversion) and SCM and build management (eg Maven) and familiar with continuous integration tools/techniques (eg Jenkins)
* Experience in customising MSTR Web a strong advantage
* Experience with WebSphere an advantage
