Business Intelligence Developer, Microsoft, MS SQL, BI, Database, OLAP

For our client in Copenhagen we are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Developer.

Responsibilities:

- Solve real-world business problems by designing and building OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, applying data mining algorithms, writing queries, and designing reports
- Aggregate data from multiple sources in an efficient Datawarehouse
- D esign enterprise-level solutions for large multidimensional databases
- Coordinate with other developers for integration of services/systems
- Develop and test solution as designed
- Coordination and delivery of design and implementation with platform team for release and preparation of team for support & maintenance of the system
- Coordination with testers for testing and bug fixing
- BI deliverables will be handled fully from gathering requirements from Users and IT projects, to creating the BI schedule, to development and testing followed by a period of handover and support after the release

Your profile:

- Expertise in relational and multidimensional database schemas
- Experience in:

o Designing and planning BI solutions
o Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI solutions
o Writing relational and multidimensional database queries
o Creating and deploying reports
o Configuring, deploying, and maintaining database Servers
- Experience with Microsoft BI technologies a MUST including SQL Server
- Previous experience in the finance industry especially trading and banking is preferred
