Business Intelligence Developer - Datastage Upgrade

A leading European provider of Financial Services require a BI specialist and knowledge of the ETL tool DataStage, Datamodelling techniques and the methodology to complete the assigned deliverables within this upgrade.
This role will require upgrading DataStage server code from 7.5.2 to 9.1.2 which includes the Unix Scripts associated.
Previous IT experience in a BI design and development project including the requirements analysis, system analysis, implementation and testing.
Tools required;
- Datastage 7.5.2 minimum
- Unix Shell Scripting (ksh/bash/AWK)
- Ab Initio
- Oracle 10g, Oracle P/L SQL
- Construction of SQL queries
The purpose of this contract is to assist in creating and documenting version control standards for DataStage 9.1.2 and assist with performance tuning DataStage jobs. You will be responsible for technical design specifications for interface development, exception handling and monitoring.
