Business Intelligence Developer

Our client is a leading games studio is looking for a BI DEVELOPER to join the Business Intelligence team. As a member of the BI team, you will help build state-of-the-art analytics systems that are at the heart of the studio decision making process. You will build large scale warehouses in multi-source environments, from ETL through to OLAP, presentation and data feeds to Real Time production systems. The client is also looking to expand test-driven methodologies, so you will be working with both the development and test team representatives to define and execute on quality initiatives.

Responsibilities will also include working with key business representatives to define and refine key metrics and processes. The successful candidate will possess superior testing skills, experience with data quality systems and techniques, as well as a very strong attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years' experience with SQL Server
- Expert level T-SQL knowledge required
- 5+ years' experience designing and implementing scalable ETL processes including data movement (SSIS, replication, etc.) and quality tools
- 2+ years' experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- 2+ years' experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 2+ years' experience with C#
- Strong Scripting skills using PowerShell or similar language
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with VLDB
- Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, and Web Services a plus
- Strong communication skills required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required; Master's degree is preferred and may substitute for up to 2 years of related experience

This contract position is expected to be 8 months in duration with the possibility of extension.
