Business Intelligence Consultant

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant for our client in Amsterdam. This is a freelance position for minimal 6 months with the possibility to extend.

Project description:

As a Business Intelligence Consultant (BIC), develop and implement and support all changes in information provision. You analyze, design and implement the changes in (source) information provision and/or the complex reporting initiatives initiated or used by Business Delivery. This implies that you determine business and/or technical information requirements, manage technical design processes, plant plants, identify priorities, and monitor (development) progress. This may include matching with other managers to integrate projects with other applications or business (information) processes.

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

- A Bachlor/Master degree in the direction of Information Management, IT, Business Management and/or MBA
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional
- At least +5 years of experience with business intelligence/data warehousing products (such as SAS, computer science), preferably in a power management environment
- Experience with data management and data warehousing processes is a required experience with SAS/Informatics and Mark-It EDM is unprecedented
- Knowledge of databases, object modelling and querying skills is an absolute requirement
- Excellent knowledge of IT change processes
