Business Intelligence & Big Data Administrator

For a large Belgian client, we require a Business Intelligence Expert to work within a team responsible for the management of Databases and Business Intelligence infrastructures; undertaking the installation, configuration and support of Production and Test systems running on AIX, Linux and Windows.

We require a Business Intelligence Administrator with hands-on experience in the installation, configuration and support of IBM InfoSphere Information Server, IBM Cognos BI and Hadoop Distribution (Cloudera).

The successful candidate will:

- Ensure Production stability, availability and security of our client's BI infrastructure
- Monitor and tune system performance and troubleshoot incidents and problems
- Provide technical advice and guidelines to development teams
- Review application designs and undertake deployment production
- Ensure the recoverability of the BI environment and data

The assignment is for 12 months, and on-call support (on a rota system) will be required. The working language is English. French or Dutch would be a bonus but are not mandatory.
