BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (ETL/BODS)/12 MONTHS/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Business Intelligence Analyst (ETL/BODS) urgently required for one of my clients for initial period of 12 Months to be based in Brussels, Belgium.

Nature of the tasks

- Design and development of online analytical data processing (OLAP)
- Creation and maintenance of a data warehouse
- Gathering business requirements
- ETL processes
- Datamodelling
- Design and development of reporting applications
- DB performance analysis
- Elaboration of test programs
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with the project teams.
- Reverse engineering of Coldfusion applications
- Reverse engineering of Java applications

Required skills

- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in ETL design
- In-depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture
- In-depth knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse
- In depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, BO Designer, BO reporting, BO Data Services, MS-Project & Sybase PowerDesigner
- In depth knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools
- Good knowledge of ETL tools
- Good knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP)
- Good knowledge of Coldfusion
- Good knowledge of Java
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
- Ability to apply high quality standards
