Business Intelligence Analyst

Synergis has an excellent opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst located in Mountain View, CA.

The analyst will be responsible for working closely with our client's finance team to provide financial support for their marketing team.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

- Maintain the weekly marketing revenue reports, debug reporting issues, provide user support and analyze revenue trends
- Understand new reporting needs from the finance and marketing leads; design, implement, and improve revenue dashboards to track key performance metrics and develop insights for B2B marketing initiatives
- Support ad hoc requests on revenue analytics and expense management

Requirements:

- BA/BS degree with evidence of quantitative coursework such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or finance
- Database experience including proficiency in SQL coding across standard commercial databases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, proactive and able to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Experience or knowledge in Marketing and/or Finance is a strong plus
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with financial systems (Hyperion) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros etc.) and PowerPoint
