Business Intelligence Analyst required in Brussels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To set up a reporting inventory and a clear reporting governance for the BIII project which is planned to go live by mid November 2014, set up a reporting inventory for all Finance reporting on FX and MM products (Calypso). List all performance problems and agree smart improvements with ITS.
Define upgrade approach from Business Objects V3.1 to V4.1 at the lowest possible cost. Technical context Business Reporting Management is responsible for the correct set-up, use, structure and coherence of the Finance reports.
Therefore an action plan needs to set up in order to achieve the following objectives:
Guarantee that a finance report inventory is in place and up-to-date. Align with ITS for the definition of the business information layer (ie Oracle common & BO universes)
Support the Finance end-user to ensure an efficient use/set-up of their standard (dashboards) and "ad hoc" reports. This concerns functional support (eg data content and organisation) as well as technical support (eg usage of our reporting tools)
Monitor and follow-up on the effectiveness of the Finance reporting (eg a report for operational purposes is possibly not suited for specific analytical purposes). All Finance reporting is in scope (Financial reporting, Management reporting, Bazel III reporting, Legal reporting, Tax reporting, Internal and External reports, Micro and Macro reports, reporting on Income & Cost, Balance-Sheet, Risk, etc ).
Ensure coherence between the different finance reportings and avoid double usage.
Support the Finance projects in the correct delivery of new/modified data marts/reports and ensure the coherence with the reporting architecture in place.H
