Projektbeschreibung

The BI Analyst is responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and supporting the Business report Intelligence platforms and applications. Will work with the business users and management to understand and fulfil their business intelligence/reporting information needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Responsible for building standard and custom reporting
- Publish and maintain dashboards and reports that support the Services organization and support functions.
- Compiles and prepares statistical data used in the analysis of operational performance of designated functional area.
- Develops report specifications, data requirements and provides analysis to resolve business-related problems. Improves reporting processes whenever possible.
- Provide support to users through data analysis and research of business processes. This analysis may identify gaps in business process and lead to efforts to improve those processes.
- Creates documentation and ensures readiness for all projects. Documents business case analysis and assists in translating business requirements into process/functional design/system solutions.
- Evaluates business process implications of system requirements and assesses possible redesign recommendations
- Performs other duties as required.

SKILLS:

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong Business acumen and problem solving skills; demonstrated proficiency in executing and monitoring business strategies and driving process optimization to achieve significant business results.
- Hands-on technical development knowledge with multiple successful implementation of Business Intelligence applications and analytics server architecture and metadata management
- Technical experience in designing, configuring and deploying BI/Performance Management application user functionalities using Oracle OBIEE plus or related BI tool sets. Though OBIEE experience is preferred.
- Hands on knowledge and experiences in data design/data modelling using tools such as Oracle Designer
- Good written communication skills with ability to present technical and business solution concepts to management across functional domains (both technical and non-technical audiences) from a business perspective, while developing the specifications that can be understood and implemented by the technical team
- Strong desire to keep current on new technologies that push the limits of what we can do creatively
- Create technical design specifications, developing analytical reports, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debug, tune and optimize report performance.
- Work as part of a team to Design, Build and Test the implementation of BI Analytics and reporting solutions in the BI platform

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree in a scientific, business or technical field or related field or equivalent related experience
- 3+ years of Data Warehouse experience or equivalent Business intelligence tools experience
- Hands on Oracle database experience - Database objects, indexes, database design, SQL Scripting
- Proven track record in pulling data from non-integrated systems into one single data repository
- Previous with report building (eg Crystal Reports, etc)
- At least 3 years' experience in leading the development and enhancements of systems using Oracle SQL, an ETL tool, and PL/SQL, Oracle Discover, data warehouse builder
- 2+ years supporting an integrated Oracle Financials on Unix environment is a plus
- Ability to travel across the region as required
- 3-5 years' experience in data modelling skills designing both normalized and de-normalized dimensional data structures for both Relational and OLAP
