Business Intelligence Analyst (Cognos) needed to join an expanding engineering solutions firm in Essex.

My client are an exciting and established Engineering Solutions company based in Essex. They are looking for a reliable and skilled Business Intelligence Analyst who is experienced using Cognos to join their expanding team. They are ideally looking for a permanent member of staff to join them, but are also happy to look at candidates for a contract. (Initially 3 months).

The successful candidate will be undertaking the following duties as well as others.

Meeting colleagues to define Business Intelligence reporting requirements for financial and operational goals.
Preparing and delivering Business Intelligence reports, addressing existing and potential trouble areas in business systems.
Producing Business Intelligence from multiple data sources.
Provide guidance or instruction to other staff members in the IT department.
Participation in an out of hours support rota.

The company are looking to pay up to £48,000 to the correct candidate. Contract rates are negotiable.
